 About the Game

Phasebound is an action and exploration game built from the ground up as a high-performance prototype to push the limits of the EdenSpark Engine. You control a fragile paper character trapped in a hostile, challenging world.

To survive, you will need to use your own materiality to your advantage: shift between different folding states and substances to overcome enemies, and reach unexplored heights.

Mechanics and Transformations

Your character possesses the ability to phase between three distinct forms:

•  Paper Mode (Human): Your primary form. You are agile and can perform melee attacks. To deal with ranged threats, hold the mouse button to block and deflect projectiles using a reinforced paper shield.

•  Ink Shadow Mode (Q Key): Dive into the ink! By staining your paper body, you become dense and shadowy. Enter a stealth state to slip past enemies unnoticed and glide through shadows to escape imminent danger.

• Paper Airplane Mode (F Key): Out of ground? Fold yourself! Transform into a nimble paper airplane to glide over abysses, catch air currents, and traverse distances that would be impossible on foot.
